I'm so happy I'll be getting out this Sunday to volunteer for a group I think has been doing great work, The Physician's Committee for Responsible Medicine. I worked with them part-time back in the 80s/early 90s when they first started out. And now they are celebrating 40 years at a gala just 20 minutes away from my home and early in the day on a Sunday! It's a perfect set up for my limited energy.


Since 1985, the Physicians Committee has worked tirelessly for alternatives to the use of animals in medical education and research and for more effective scientific methods.
